HVAC Brands We Install and Service

Last updated Reviewed by Waseem Shahzad, Lead Technician

This list comes from our own job records: the equipment K2 has supplied and installed in homes on Long Island. It shows which brands we put in regularly and which ones we install now and then.

Which brands does K2 install most often?

From our installation records, we install Rheem, Fujitsu, Trane, Bosch and Daikin equipment regularly, along with Aprilaire controls and air cleaners. These cover central air, gas furnaces, air handlers, ducted and ductless heat pumps, and the thermostats and accessories that go with them.

  • Rheem

We install central air conditioners, air handlers, gas furnaces and evaporator coils.

Rheem is the brand we install most often, across central air and gas furnace replacements. Financing on many installations is through Rheem KwikComfort, with credit provided by Synchrony Bank.

  • Fujitsu

We install ductless mini-splits and heat pumps, including ducted air handlers.

Fujitsu ductless and heat pump systems are a common choice for homes with baseboard heat and no ducts.

  • Trane

We install central air conditioners and air handlers.

Trane condensers and air handlers come up often in our central air replacements and in the systems we service.

  • Bosch

We install inverter air conditioners, heat pumps and air handlers.

Bosch inverter systems are installed both as central air and as ducted heat pumps.

  • Daikin

We install heat pumps, multi-zone mini-splits and ducted air handlers.

Daikin multi-zone heat pumps let one outdoor unit serve a mix of ducted and wall-mounted indoor units.

  • Aprilaire

We install thermostats, media air cleaners and humidifiers.

Aprilaire controls and air cleaners are often added during an installation.

Which brands do we install occasionally?

We also install York, Goodman, Ruud, Carrier and American Standard central air and heating equipment, A. O. Smith water heaters, and Honeywell and Nest thermostats, usually when a homeowner asks for that brand or it suits the house better.

Does the brand matter as much as the installation?

Usually not. Most comfort and reliability problems we see trace back to sizing, ductwork, refrigerant charge and drainage, not the badge on the unit. We size each system to the house with a load calculation and recommend the model that fits your space, fuel and budget.

Brand questions

Are you a dealer for these brands?

This page lists the brands we install and service, based on our own installation records. It is not a list of dealer or factory programs. Ask us about any brand you are considering and we will tell you what we have installed.

Do you service brands that are not on this list?

Yes. We repair and maintain most makes of furnaces, boilers, central air, heat pumps and mini-splits. This list shows only the brands we install most often.

Which brand should I choose?

Sizing and installation quality usually matter more than the name on the unit. We size equipment to the house and recommend models that fit your system, budget and space. Our article on whether HVAC brand matters explains why.

Can I supply my own equipment?

Sometimes. We have installed homeowner-supplied equipment, such as a Nest thermostat and a central air system. Call first so we can confirm the equipment suits your house and what the installation involves.

Planning a replacement?

Call or text us and we will talk through the equipment that fits your house.
